What is the "Holy Trinity"
While you may know of the Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit, down in Louisiana the "Holy Trinity" can mean something a little bit different. While not quite as almighty (but pretty darn close) all good cajuns and creoles know that the holy trinty consists of onions, celery, and bell peppers. It is a staple and necessity amongst all Louisiana cooking. From gumbo to Etoufee, it is a culinary necessity. While we aren't in the kitchen per say, Trinity Brass Band pays homage to that with its members' roots in Louisiana and New Orleans. by bringing its own musical trinity of rhythm, culture, and soul!!
